Formal Swearing-In Ceremony

In addition to the required oaths of office, a public Swearing-In Ceremony is held to formally introduce the Premier and Cabinet Ministers as the new Government.

At this ceremonial event:

  • The Premier and Ministers publicly affirm their oaths of office.

  • The new Government formally assumes its constitutional duties in the presence of the public and invited guests.
